Originally from Leicester Martin has gradually moved South, eventually settling in Brighton in 1989, where he opened a new branch of a major UK bank.
Martin left the Bank to go independent in 1997, and so has had 25years experience as a mortgage broker, and 20 years prior to that as a bank manager.
Martin is likely one of the most well-known long-standing mortgage advisers in Brighton, brilliant at building trust and long-term relationships with clients.
He’s even done a mortgage for someone, their children and their children
Being from Leicester Martin is crazy about Leicester City FC.
His ultimate passion is playing the guitar. His band “Band of Dads” perform gigs all over Sussex and all proceeds go to charity. He is also a keen traveller.

With nearly 10 years’ experience under his belt Nick’s knowledge and commitment to his clients has made Gaskells I.M.A. a trusted firm for mortgage advice in Brighton, London, and the rest of the UK.

Another mad Leicester City fan, James is a history buff who has a passion for visiting ruins and museums such as in his next big trip to Vietnam. He is recently out of university having completed a politics degree at Reading.

Our only charge is a non-refundable flat administration fee which is payable when a formal offer of a mortgage is received from the lender. This fee is typically £295 but can range from £0 to £5,000 depending on the complexity of a specific case.
